I'm Atiksh Sharma, a 9th grader who likes building and tinkering with software and hardware. I like building compilers, operating systems, and tools that make programming more fun. I also really like cats.
My hobbies include cooking, chess, table tennis, badminton, football, basketball, gaming, reading, programming, and nature photography.
I started programming back in 2020 when I was 8 years old, starting with a chapter on MSW Logo in my computer book. This chapter taught me about loops and how commands are given to a computer. I still remember typing forward 100, then left, right, and backward 100, looping them to create cool shapes and stuff. That's how my journey began.
Later, I learned Python, followed by Scratch from my CS book in 4th grade. I kept on learning other languages and finally got into low-level programming in 2023 when I began learning C/C++ and Go. After that, I learned Rust. It took me a full year to learn Rust—I started in 2024, and it all made sense by 2025. I even built a cool experimental operating system, RadianOS, with it!
Since Rust was very complicated, I had this dream of making my own programming language. However, it had to be something innovative, so I put it on hold because I had nothing specific in mind at the time. In 2025, I found a gap in the satellite fault diagnosis field, which led to my next big research project.
